HUGE CHANGES to the Battle System UPDATED!


Greetings, everyone!

I know you have been waiting for this update. I actually finished this for a long time but I did not want to release it without proper testing. Right now, what you're seeing is a complete battle system that is similar to Phantasy Star 2 and 4. The only thing I have not implemented in this sense is the Macro System. Honestly, I have only touched the UI of it at this moment, and I am learning how to inject the actions to work depending on recorded actions and checking if those characters are present in combat. Nevertheless, I present you the new huge update for the battle system, which is as follows:

  • Enemies are now animated.
  • Enemy animation for attack
  • Enemy animation for skill.
  • Actor animation for attack per weapon.
  • Actor animation for Tech cast.
  • Actor animation for Skill application.
  • Complete UI akin to Phantasy Star 4.
  • Front View Custom Actor Sprites

Next in my line are the following:

  • Combination Skills
  • Macro System

Hoping, I would be able to finish it around next year. Feel free to play around the engine.
